Tract English Sin is dangerous

 

  SIN IS DANGEROUS

God’s WORD, The Bible says: 

…the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)   

Cast away from you all your sins by which you have sinned; and make you a new heart and a new spirit; for why will you die…? (Ezekiel 18:31)  

For the wages of sin is death...(Romans 6:23) 

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned… (Rom 5:12)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God… (Rom 3:23)

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us... (1John 1:8)

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)

If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though they do not know it, they are guilty and will be held responsible. (Leviticus 5:17)

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1Corinthians 6:9-10)

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die…? (Ezekiel 33:11) 

…the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone…  (Revelation 21:8)

 God wants man to live in heaven with Him, So He had a plan in place for man

For I have no delight in the death of him who dies, says the Lord Jehovah. Therefore turn and live… (Ezekiel 18:32) 

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:16-17) 

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)

But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. (Ezekiel 18:21) 

The Word Became Flesh – God came to Earth

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He (Jesus) was in the beginning with God.  All things came into being through Him (through Jesus), and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.   In Him (Jesus) was life, and the life was the light of men.  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it. (John 1:1-5) 

He (Jesus) was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world .  He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him (Jesus), and the world did not know Him.  He (Jesus) came to His own, and His own received Him not. 

But as many as received Him (Jesus), He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name…(John 1:9-12) 

 The Lord is... not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16)

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1John 4:9-10)

We love him, because he first loved us. (1John 4:19)  

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. (1John 5:3) 

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1John 5:11-12) 

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us. (1John 1:9-10) 

You can know for sure here on earth already that you have eternal life

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1John 5:13) 

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:30-31)

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) “

Confess your sins to God

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1John 1:9)  

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)

Repent. Repentance is very important. Sin is a wall between man and God.  Repentance is the only way to demolish the wall.

Remember God loves you and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Confess to God in your own words that you are a sinner. Ask God with a sincere heart to forgive you. Ask Him to wash you with the blood of Jesus. Tell Jesus that you believe He died on the cross in your place so that you can go to heaven. Accept Him as your Saviour and thank Him for accepting you because He says that in His Word. When you thank Him you show your faith in Him. Now give your life over to Him.

 

AND NOW, WHAT MUST I DO NEXT?

1.                Read the Bible to find out what God wants

But He answered and said, It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." (Mathew 4:4) 

I have hidden Your Word in my heart, so that I might not sin against You. (Psalm 119:11) 

 

There are two roads. The way of the Righteous and the way of the Wicked

Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of the scornful.  But his delight is only in the Law of Jehovah; and in His Law he meditates day and night.  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of water that brings forth its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf shall not wither, and all which he does shall be blessed. 

The wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away. 

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.   For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalm 1)

 

2.                You must  pray regularly

 (2Thessalonians_1:11) 

Therefore, I desire that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. (1Timothy 2:8)

And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God from the angel's hand. (Revelations 8:4)

3.                Talk to people about God    

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Romans 10:9-10) 

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin... (1 John 1:7)

4.                Meet with other believers to read the Bible together, to pray and to sing

And they were continuing steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, and in fellowship and in the breaking of the loaves, and in prayers. (Acts_2:42) 

And as he talked with him, he went in and found many who had come together. (Acts_10:27) 

And thinking about it, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose last name was Mark; where many had gathered together to pray. (Acts 12:12) 

And on the coming Sabbath day almost all the city came together to hear the Word of God. (Acts 13:44) 

 

When we read the Bible and do what God desires, we will grow up into spiritually mature people.

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— (1Peter 2:2)
